About this care
At Kinderopvang Vrolijk, we offer a warm and safe environment for children from 0 to 12 years old. Our childcare is focused on stimulating the development of each child, with a strong emphasis on healthy nutrition and outdoor activities. We believe that children learn best through play and discovery. That's why we organise daily activities such as singing, reading, arts and crafts, and games.
Our groups are small, with approximately ten toddlers per group, so that we can give personal attention to each child. We have a horizontal group structure, which means that children of the same age are placed together. This promotes social interaction and makes it easier for children to develop in a familiar environment.
Outdoor play is an important part of our philosophy. We have a safe outdoor space where children can run, jump, and play. This not only helps with their physical development, but also with their social skills. We provide healthy meals, so that children get the proper nutrition they need to grow and thrive. The annual inspection by GGD Groningen on 10 April 2026 shows that childcare provider Ukkepuk in Grijpskerk meets all assessed statutory quality requirements. The location provides early childhood education to a maximum of 16 toddlers (ages 2-4) and is part of childcare organisation Vrolijk.
