Welcome to Kinderopvang 't Nest, Location BSO de Schakel in Broekhuizenvorst. Our small-scale after-school care is located at Schoolstraat 5, right next to primary school De Schakel. With 40 childcare places, our close-knit team is ready to provide children aged 4 to 12 with a safe and homely place after school.
We are open 52 weeks a year, from the moment school ends until 6:00 PM. During holidays, we always create an activity program and organize fun trips whenever possible. Our goal is to let children relax, play and enjoy themselves in a familiar environment.
As part of B.V. 't Nest Kinderopvang Horst, we work according to the vision that 'together' provides a solid foundation. We believe in growing up with falling and getting up, so that every child can fly out with a smile. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to give children a great time.

BSO de Schakel in Broekhuizenvorst, part of Kinderopvang 't Nest, provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 40 children aged 4–12 in two fixed base groups. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 11 August 2025 concludes that the location meets all inspected statutory quality requirements. The pedagogical policy is up to date and implemented by the team; children experience structure and emotional safety. All staff hold a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG), are registered in the PRK, and the staff-to-child ratio is correct at all times. The accommodation offers sufficient indoor (149 m²) and outdoor space (>120 m²), is safe and appropriately furnished for the age group with separate corners for younger and older children. Each child has a fixed mentor who maintains contact with parents. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. No recovery measures are needed. The municipality is advised not to apply enforcement action.
