About this care
Kindcentrum Kruudwis BSO is located on the same premises as primary school De Kruudwis at Klaproos 21 in Venray. We provide after-school care for up to 44 children aged 4 to 13. The collaboration between school and childcare is intensive: we operate under the SPOVenray school board and work closely with childcare organisation ’t Nest.
Before- and after-school care is available Monday through Friday. Early-morning care starts at 07:30 and after-school care runs until 18:00. On Wednesday and Friday afternoons, after-school care is provided at our sister location KC Landweert – de Klimboom. We remain open during all school holidays and on study days so parents can always rely on us.
Our pedagogical staff are ready to offer children a familiar and safe place where they can play, relax and develop. We tailor activities to the children’s interests and provide calm and structure after a busy school day. Thanks to short lines of communication with De Kruudwis teachers, we know every child well and can coordinate care effectively.

Kindcentrum Kruudwis after-school care (BSO) in Venray, part of 't Nest Kinderopvang, was inspected on 25 November 2025. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates 44 children in two base groups (lower group ages 4-7 and upper group ages 7-13). The location meets all assessed quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and safety and health. The pedagogical practice shows an open, relaxed atmosphere in which staff interact sensitively and responsively with children. Children feel emotionally safe and are actively involved in activities. All staff hold appropriate qualifications and Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) declarations. One point of attention is that staff knowledge of mandatory reporting, consultation, and disclosure obligations could be further improved. No violations were identified.
