About this care
Welcome to Kinderopvang Omy in Groningen, located in the heart of residential complex De Leyhoeve at Helperpark 258-1. We are a small-scale daycare center where a maximum of 16 children aged 0 to 4 years find a second home. Small-scale care, personal involvement and reliability are central to our approach.
In our homely groups we work with a permanent team of experienced childcare professionals who truly know each child. No changing faces, but familiar faces that provide a secure attachment base. Our pedagogical approach is designed to let children discover and develop through play. Creative activities, outdoor play and quiet moments alternate naturally.
We offer a protected environment without overstimulation, where every child has space to develop at their own pace. Our location has its own garden/green playground where children can enjoy fresh air daily and discover nature. For the youngest ones we have separate sleeping areas and provide bottle feeding according to the home rhythm.
