Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Boomhut, a private daycare in the Helpman district of Groningen. We care for children aged 0 to 4 years across two locations in the beautiful Groenesteinpark. Our crèche at Groenesteinlaan 16a offers care for babies and toddlers aged 0 to 2.5 years in two vertical groups. Our toddler location 'De Boerderij' at Groenesteinlaan 20b is for children aged 2.5 to 4 years. Our motto is: "De Boomhut, because every child is unique!" Every child is unique - that is our starting point. We approach children positively and avoid negative attention. We take emotions seriously; your child should feel safe and secure. We stimulate self-reliance; children may choose for themselves where possible and help us with small tasks. We work with a fixed team of enthusiastic qualified staff. We do not use substitute workers, creating a calm and familiar environment. The groups have an open door policy so children get to know all the staff. The daily schedule follows a consistent rhythm providing structure, while babies maintain their own rhythm. Play is central: football, biking, sports, building with Duplo, reading, singing, and crafting. With Groenesteinpark and playground De Helpen as our backyard, there is plenty of outdoor space. In bad weather, our large indoor 'stable' provides ample room. Babies sleep in outdoor beds or strollers. We eat healthy food and value hygiene. Interested parents are welcome for a tour.
