About this care
We are Kinderopvang Het Snuitje, located on the rural outskirts of Veghel at Middegaal 26A. Our after-school care (BSO) welcomes up to 40 children aged 4 to 13. The location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 147646364 since 26 February 2015.
Our BSO is housed in a distinctive building designed in 2014 by van Hooft Architects. From the outside it resembles a hay barn with stables, but inside it is a modern, bright childcare facility. We make full use of our countryside setting: children spend time outdoors every day, interact with animals and discover how plants grow. These outdoor experiences are central to our programme.
Our team consists of qualified pedagogical staff who provide a safe and stimulating environment every afternoon. We work with horizontal groups so that children of similar ages can play and learn together. After school our bus collects children from various primary schools in Veghel and Meierijstad. On site a warm meal, homework support and room for personal initiative await them.

Summary
Kinderopvang Het Snuitje BSO in Veghel provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 40 children aged 4-13 in two groups. The inspection on 25 November 2025 shows that the pedagogical climate and personnel matters are in order: children experience emotional safety, are given freedom of choice, and the pedagogical staff are properly registered. Under 'Safety and health,' two violations were identified. Staff insufficiently encouraged children to practice hand hygiene (before eating and after using the toilet) and had insufficient knowledge of how to consult the confidential inspector and of the mandatory reporting obligation when suspecting criminal offenses. The holder made use of the recovery offer: policy has been tightened with concrete handwashing agreements, a visual reminder at the toilet, and a team discussion; both violations have since been resolved. The municipal executive is advised not to take enforcement action.
