GGD Limburg-Noord conducted an unannounced incidental inspection on 24 March 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Hansje Pansje Kevertje in Herten, following parent reports via the child health clinic. The inspection focused on pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parent rights. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) identified a violation regarding pedagogical policy: the provider failed to ensure adequate implementation of the pedagogical policy plan. The provider submitted an extensive response contesting the GGD's conclusions, but the GGD upheld its findings.
