About this care
Welcome to De Magneetjes Daycare at Maldivenweg 43 in Almere. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely, warm environment where everyone feels safe and welcome. Quality, personal attention and flexibility are our priorities; parents can choose half or full days and flexible hours are also available.
Our qualified staff work according to a clear pedagogical policy that focuses on the development of every child. We use horizontal groups, so babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are placed in age groups and activities and materials are tailored exactly to their developmental level. Dutch is the spoken language in our daycare.
For the very youngest we provide complete baby care: nappies, bottle feeding and hot meals are included in the hourly rate of € 8.40. Fresh fruit and healthy snacks are also standard. Children can nap quietly during the day in separate sleeping rooms equipped with cots and blackout facilities, ensuring a home-like feeling. The location is open Monday to Friday from 06:45 to 18:30.

Summary
Kinderopvang de Magneetjes (daycare center/kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Almere was subject to a follow-up investigation by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Flevoland on 31 March 2026. This investigation followed an earlier violation from the annual inspection of 14 January 2025, in which the description and implementation of care during the combination of after-school care (BSO) and daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) children did not meet requirements. The operator was given a recovery offer until 17 March 2026. The current investigation found that the shortcoming has been resolved: the amended policy plan of March 2026 now describes in concrete terms the fixed, structural joint care moments (07:30-08:00 and the meal moment at the end of the day), with due observance of the staff-to-child ratio. The previously described incidental combination has been removed.
