Welcome to De Geheime Tuin Doorn, an anthroposophical daycare located at Bloemengaard 69 in the heart of Doorn. We provide a safe, warm and homely environment for children aged 0 to 4 years. With a maximum of 46 places, our small-scale setting ensures every child receives the personal attention they need to flourish. Our educational approach is rooted in anthroposophy, focusing on rhythm, respect and the unique individuality of each child. We follow natural developmental stages and provide ample space for imagination and creativity. Our qualified staff are specially trained in this philosophy and guide the children with warmth and expertise. Organic, healthy nutrition is central to our daily routine. We follow eight golden food rules, serving daily organic meals including freshly baked bread and healthy snacks. We accommodate food allergies and dietary requirements, using only natural ingredients. Nature is our greatest classroom. Children spend time daily in our spacious garden, working together in the vegetable patch, learning about the seasons and experiencing nature with all their senses. We also offer outdoor sleeping, allowing children to literally and figuratively enjoy fresh air. Creative activities such as painting, singing, dancing and puppetry are part of our daily rhythm. We use natural materials and stimulate children's imagination. Together we bake bread, care for plants and make music, fostering natural curiosity about the world around them. We offer both full and half-day care to meet parents' needs. Our groups are horizontally structured, with babies, toddlers and preschoolers in separate age groups, ensuring peace, safety and developmentally appropriate care. At De Geheime Tuin Doorn, we believe children should feel safe and secure. We work with familiar faces and a predictable daily rhythm, balancing rest and development. Our location is furnished with warm, natural materials and provides quiet sleeping areas for our youngest children.
