The follow-up inspection on 2 June 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Bloei in Zaandam focused on a previously identified violation from February 2026. At that time, the kitchen/utility room did not meet the safety and health policy requirements: there were cross-contamination risks due to dual-purpose use, missing hygiene rules, and an unsafe layout. During this follow-up inspection, all shortcomings have been resolved. The space has been reconfigured, cables and splash guards have been secured, laundry equipment has been relocated, and clear work agreements have been established regarding separation of activities. The policy has been updated and staff members know and comply with the agreements. The location now meets all assessed quality requirements.
