About this care
Welcome to Kinderhuis de Fuut 2.0 B.V. located at Karolingersweg 147a in Wijk bij Duurstede. We provide after-school care in nature for children aged 4 to 12. Our location has a maximum capacity of 30 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 30 August 2021 under number 144818723.
At de Fuut, we believe that outdoor play positively influences children's motor and physical development. Experiencing nature fosters creativity, independent thinking, making connections and language development. Through play, children become aware of and act responsibly towards nature and the environment.
We work with small groups of 9 or 10 children. The child-to-staff ratio is 1:9 for 4 and 5-year-olds, 1:10 for 5 and 6-year-olds, and 1:10 from age 7 onwards. Every afternoon we offer a varied program of activities: sports & games, creativity and nature education. Our enthusiastic and motivated supervisors have, in addition to a pedagogical or educational background, their own specialisation in areas such as art, theatre, nature, sports and games.

- The outdoor play area of the Dwergfuuten group was insufficiently safe: overgrown garden with loose netting with sharp points over a dry pond, glass shards, cigarette butts and joint remnants; staff were not always able to supervise all children
- Staff were insufficiently aware of their duty to report, consult and file official notifications (melding-, overleg- en aangifteplicht/MOA)

GGD inspection on 14-07-2026 at BSO Kinderhuis de Fuut 2.0 B.V. in Wijk bij Duurstede. The location provides care for a maximum of 30 children in 3 groups (ages 4-12). The pedagogical climate and staffing/groups meet requirements without remarks. Safety and health and accommodation meet requirements following a recovery offer.
