Welcome to ZizaZebra daycare centre at Borgercompagniesterstraat 66 in Sappemeer. In our large, bright premises with cheerful colours we provide children aged 0 to 4 with a loving and safe environment where they quickly feel at home. We operate separate baby and toddler groups, ensuring every child receives the care and attention appropriate for their stage of development.
Our baby group is specially designed for the very youngest. Here, fixed pedagogical professionals provide a warm, safe and secure environment. We follow the principle of consistent caregivers, so your baby sees the same familiar faces and feels secure. There is plenty of room for rest as well as for those first developmental steps. We follow your child's rhythm and fully tailor our care accordingly.
For the toddler groups we have fresh, spacious rooms where toddlers can discover and learn through play. We offer plenty of space for play, interaction and confidence. Our pedagogical staff guide the children on their own path, where fun and development go hand in hand. It is important to us that your child comes in cheerfully and goes home cheerfully.

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Zizazebra in Sappemeer was inspected on 3 February 2026 by GGD Groningen. The unannounced annual inspection showed that the location generally functions well. The pedagogical approach, based on the Emmi Pikler vision, was assessed positively: staff members are attentive, articulate their actions, and create a safe climate. The accommodation comfortably meets requirements with sufficient indoor and outdoor space. One violation was identified: a staff member was missing from the childcare personnel register and did not yet have a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). The operator took immediate action, a recovery offer was accepted, and the shortcoming was resolved within one week. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Midden-Groningen not to take enforcement measures.
