About this care
Welcome to KDV het Vlindertje at Hoofdstraat 177 in Hoogezand. This is the second location of Kinderopvang Het Vlindertje, opened in 2023. We offer small-scale daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in a vertical group where children of different ages play and learn together. This location works closely with the main location at Meint Veningastraat.
Our approach is focused on safety and security. We stimulate children by providing a familiar environment with plenty of cuddles, holding hands, and loving attention. The calm earth tones in the room create a peaceful atmosphere.
We work according to the Emmi Pikler philosophy. Children are given space to move freely and play and discover independently at their own pace. There are no playpens, bouncy seats or baby walkers. We are also a healthy childcare organisation working systematically on children's health.
