About this care
Kinderdagverblijf Het Strandhuis is a brand-new Forte childcare location that opened on 30 November 2022 in the former ABN-AMRO building at Dorpsstraat 76, right in the centre of Castricum. The outside has been given wooden cladding for a warm, beach-house feel, while inside everything has been completely refurbished: four bright group rooms, dedicated sleep areas, modern sanitary facilities and a spacious garden where children can explore and play safely.
We welcome up to 46 children aged 0-4. Our groups are organised both horizontally (same age) and vertically (0-4 together), ensuring every child receives care and stimulation that matches their developmental stage. Thanks to our central location the petting zoo, beach, woods and Castricum’s lively market are only a short walk away; we regularly take the children on excursions to broaden their world.
