About this care
Peuteropvang Paulusburcht is part of Kindcentrum Paulusburcht, located at Eerste Groenelaan 88 in Castricum. We offer toddler care for children aged 2 years and 3 months up to 4 years. Our programme runs from Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 11:45. Children can attend a minimum of two and a maximum of five mornings per week.
Our homely, well-designed space puts play at the heart of learning. Children are free to explore, choose and grow. We work in themes throughout the year, always leaving room to respond to the children’s current interests and needs. Our qualified pedagogical staff—trained at vocational or higher-education level—listen actively and tune in to each child’s world, helping toddlers put thoughts and feelings into words.
Three pedagogical pillars guide us: providing emotional safety, developing personal competence and fostering social competence. Play, interaction and creativity are central. We introduce the Kanjertraining programme, using puppets and role-play to help children recognise emotions, stand up for themselves and treat others with respect.
