About this care
Kinderdagverblijf Eigenwijs Emmen provides small-scale, professional childcare for up to seven children aged 0 to 4. The daycare has been run by Sanne de Jong for 18 years and has one fixed pedagogical professional. Thanks to our limited size we can give plenty of individual attention and create a homely atmosphere where children feel safe and welcome.
The children are cared for at a beautiful location in Zuidbarge with a spacious garden where they can play happily. We work with themes and a fixed daily schedule. We organize toddler gym, toddler dance and toddler yoga weekly. Parents can apply for childcare allowance through the Dutch Tax Office and there is annual inspection by the GGD.
From February 1, 2026, a spot will become available on Mondays for a child from 1 year old. We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 07:30 to 17:30; other times can be arranged by agreement.Read more
