Summary

Voorschool Anker in Emmen, a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) with 16 places for children aged 2-4, was inspected unannounced on 30 September 2025. The annual investigation focused on pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. All assessed quality requirements are met: the pedagogical policy is up to date and known to staff, early childhood education (960 hours over 1.5 years) is set up according to plan using the Uk & Puk method, all staff hold valid Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG) and certificates, the safety and health policy is complete, and a functioning domestic violence reporting protocol is in place. Parents are informed via website, newsletter and parent portal; a parent committee is not mandatory given the small size. There were no complaints. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality not to take enforcement steps.
