Kinderdagverblijf De Berenboot

Welcome to De Berenboot daycare, located in the heart of Gorinchem at Oude Lombardstraat 21. We are part of SKG, an organization that has been providing childcare in Gorinchem and surrounding areas for over 40 years. Our location is situated in the same building as primary school De Tweemaster, centrally located near the shopping area and the train station, easily accessible by car and bicycle. At De Berenboot, we believe a homely and warm atmosphere is important. Safety and security are our top priorities. Our toddler group for children aged 2 to 4 years has a horizontal group structure, so activities and challenges are well-suited to this age group. From the group room, you step directly into the outdoor play area. The building has an inner courtyard with our own nature garden. There's plenty of space for a bike route, sandbox, slide, and a barefoot path. Your child can explore among tree trunks and willow tunnels to experience nature. Throughout the day, we create rhythm and structure. In the morning, there's a fruit moment where a book is read aloud or a song is sung. We work with themes that connect to the children's world of experience. Activities stimulate language, discovery, fantasy and role play, counting and measuring, movement and dance, singing and music, and creativity. SKG is part of Gezonde Kinderopvang (Healthy Childcare). We provide care for up to 14 children in one group. Our location manager Annelies Tobe and the dedicated team are ready to give your child a wonderful time. We also offer pre-school education (VE) for toddlers who need extra support.
