About this care
Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Blossom, located at Heuningstraat 31a in Ochten. Since December 2022, we care for children in a safe, trusted, and loving environment. We started with 65 children and now care for more than 100 children together with a fantastic team. Our daycare has four groups: Heersbeestjes (0-1 years), Vlindertjes (1+2 years), Bijtjes (3+4 years), and Vogeltjes (BSO, from 4 years). Each group has a limited number of spots ensuring personal attention for every child.
Our Christian identity forms the foundation of our daily activities. Together we read from the children's Bible, pray, and give thanks before meals. Children from other or no religious backgrounds are of course very welcome! We are closed on Prayer and Thanksgiving Day.
Our team consists of women aged 19 to 55, all trained as pedagogical staff and certified in BHV and children's first aid. We attend various courses annually to keep our knowledge up-to-date.
We are open on weekdays from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Children brought before 7:00 AM can have breakfast with us. For children arriving after 7:00 AM, we expect they have already had breakfast at home. Our daycare rate is €11.20 per child per hour (2026 pricing).
