About this care
Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf BenBelle Hoogland, located at Hamseweg 39 in the heart of Hoogland. We provide daily childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our daycare is part of BenBelle Kinderopvang, an organization that has been active in the region since 2010 and is now part of Samenwerkende Kinderopvang.
We are proud of our location, which features a huge garden at the back of the building. This spacious outdoor area offers children plenty of opportunities to play, discover and grow in contact with nature. Outdoor play and learning form an important part of our daily care. We believe that children develop best through free play and interaction with their environment.
Our core values are attention, acceptance, trust and connection. We stand for genuine interest and involvement with every child. Every child is welcome as they are, with their own pace and development. We give children confidence and space to discover and learn. Through collaboration with parents, colleagues and the community, we create a close-knit environment where children feel safe and secure.
Our daycare center is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 643754738 and has a capacity for up to 90 children. Violations
- Safety and health: In practice, the policy regarding use of the outdoor space was not followed. Loose materials in and around the billy cart and materials in a shopping cart posed concrete safety risks to children. Staff members had not inspected the outdoor space before children went outside, contrary to their own work agreements. Resolved following recovery offer.
- Parental rights: No separate regulations for the parent committee had been established. There was uncertainty about the form of parental involvement (combined versus central parent committee) and the regulations had not yet been definitively established for this location. Resolved following recovery offer with new location-specific regulations.
Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) BenBelle Hoogland in Hoogland was inspected on 8 July 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Utrecht region. The location with 90 childcare places for children aged 0 to 4 years is in immediate compliance with the law on the domains of pedagogical climate and staff and groups.
