About this care
Welcome to Ska Kindcentrum Bubbels-Bieshaar, our day-care centre right in the heart of Hoogland. We are uniquely located inside the same building as Public Jenaplan School De Bieshaar at Kraailandhof 3. From their very first day, children experience a warm, familiar environment that flows seamlessly into their future primary-school years.
Our day-care welcomes up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years in one vertical group, where babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and learn together. The spacious, green outdoor playground invites exploration and movement, while the bright indoor areas offer calm and security.
At Bubbels-Bieshaar, joyful development is key. Our qualified staff follow the pedagogical policy of Stichting Ska Kinderopvang, which aligns perfectly with the school’s Jenaplan approach. Learning through play, collaboration and room for personal initiative form the basis of our daily activities. We provide care from 07:30 to 18:30 so parents can organise their working hours flexibly.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child to our small-scale, homely setting where every child is given the space to develop at their own pace.Read more
GGD Inspection
Violations
Inspection date: March 5, 2026
Strengths
- Pedagogical policy is concrete and is well implemented in practice
- Pre-school education with Uk & Puk is offered in a structured manner
- Staff members hold the correct qualifications, early education (VE) certificate, and language proficiency
- Sufficient indoor and outdoor space that is safely and appropriately arranged
- Good parent involvement and communication via parent portal
Violations
- The four-eyes principle was not sufficiently safeguarded: the staff member was regularly alone in the group without other adults being able to see or hear the activities, and the policy and practice did not meet legal requirements
Summary
Ska Kindcentrum Bubbels-Bieshaar is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Hoogland with a maximum of 16 places for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. The location offers early education (voorschoolse educatie/VE) using the Uk & Puk method and is housed in primary school De Bieshaar. The annual inspection of 5 March 2026 showed that the location meets the standards for pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation. However, a violation was identified in the safety and health domain: the four-eyes principle was not sufficiently safeguarded in policy and practice. The staff member was regularly alone in the group, without other adults nearby who could see or hear the activities. Following a recovery offer, the provider adjusted the policy and scheduled a four-eyes shift. The location now meets the requirements. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises no enforcement action.
