About this care
Welcome to Kindercentrum De Flippers at Ambachtsmark 79-82 in Almere. Since August 2015, we have been providing professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years at this location. Our daycare groups are horizontally structured into three age groups: a baby group for 3 months to approximately 1.5 years (maximum 6 children), a toddler group for 1 to approximately 2.5 years (maximum 10 children), and a preschool group for 2 to 4 years (maximum 16 children). This ensures a safe and developmentally appropriate environment that meets the specific needs of each age stage.
Kindercentrum De Flippers is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 331261005. We accommodate up to 32 children at our daycare location. Under the guidance of a fixed team of pedagogical staff, children can undertake various activities in their own group with a fixed daily schedule. This gives children the safe and trusted feeling needed to develop optimally.
After several relocations, we have realized our dream at the current location on Ambachtsmark: a childcare center where fun and development go hand in hand. Summary
Kindercentrum De Flippers in Almere was inspected unannounced on 16 April 2026 by GGD Flevoland for the annual inspection. The daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) accommodates 48 children across three KDV groups and one toddler playgroup (peuterspeelzaal). The atmosphere in the groups was positive and the team has worked together for many years. In January 2026, the childcare center was taken over by a new manager, who also serves as the pedagogical policy officer. One violation was identified: the pedagogical policy plan insufficiently described how emotional safety is ensured in the absence of the regular staff member. Following a recovery offer on 11 June 2026, the provider supplemented this and the requirement is now met. The pedagogical practice otherwise meets standards well, with warm interactions between staff and children. All employees are correctly registered and hold appropriate qualifications. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises no enforcement action.
