About this care
We are the after-school care (BSO) of Kindcentrum Willemspoort, located in the new Willemsbuiten district in southern Tilburg. Every school day our qualified pedagogical staff collect children aged 4 to 12 straight from their classroom and give them an unforgettable afternoon. Our centre is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30.
Our programme centres on meaningful activities where learning, playing, discovering and developing go hand in hand. Children enjoy our large outdoor playground for running, climbing and sports, take part in creative workshops, cook together, join regular excursions and relax in quiet corners with games or books. Fruit and drinks are always included; a warm meal can be ordered on request.
We work closely with the primary school on the same site, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition from the school day to after-school care. Our bright, spacious rooms and secure play areas give children plenty of room to be themselves and make friends. Together we create a second home where every child feels welcome.Read more

Summary
GGD Hart voor Brabant conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 25 August 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Kindcentrum Willemspoort in Tilburg. The facility accommodates 88 children aged 4 to 13 years and is part of Stichting Humankind. Overall, the location meets the quality requirements well. The pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and domestic violence reporting protocol are in order. However, there was a violation in the area of safety and health: the safety and health policy contained insufficient concrete measures to prevent children from leaving the outdoor grounds. Multiple gates in the fence were open during the inspection and staff were not familiar with the agreement on checking the fences. Following a recovery offer, the location adjusted its policy with concrete measures, after which all requirements were met. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
