About this care
Kindcentrum Weemeweide is located in the Brede School at Koningshof 6 in Vriezenveen. We provide professional daycare for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our modern building is situated in a rural setting by the fields and shares facilities with Weemewereld primary school. This unique collaboration creates a rich learning environment where young children can develop optimally.
We work according to the Pyramid Method, a proven pedagogical program that stimulates children's development in a playful and structured way. Our pedagogical staff provide personal attention to each child and guide them in their individual development. The group spaces are playfully and invitingly furnished with diverse materials that challenge children to explore and learn.
Outdoor play has a central place with us. We have a beautiful natural outdoor playground with sandbox and play equipment, complemented by a 'hard' schoolyard. Daily, we take the children outside where they can romp, discover and play in the fresh air. These outdoor experiences contribute to healthy development and are of course just great fun!
Our location has been officially registered since July 7, 2011 in the National Childcare Register under number 113771629. We offer preschool education (VE) and meet all national quality requirements. Parents can apply for childcare allowance for our services.Read more

Summary
Kindcentrum Weemeweide in Vriezenveen is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) with 16 places that was inspected unannounced on 26 June 2025. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) concludes that all assessed legal requirements are being met; the center is therefore approved. Strong points are the safe pedagogical climate with stable, sensitive staff members, a rich range of activities (including early childhood education using the Piramide programme), an active parent committee, and a clear safety and health policy. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. Because everything is in order, no recovery offer was needed. The municipality of Twenterand is advised not to take any enforcement action.
