About this care
Welcome to Eigen&Wijzer KDV Dukkies, located at Linthorstlaan 14 in Vriezenveen. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm and familiar environment. Our location is part of the protestant-christian organization Eigen&Wijzer, and we work from the belief that every child is unique and has their own talents.
In our specially designed space for the youngest children, they are free to play, explore and grow. We offer a safe and stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors. Our pedagogical professionals are dedicated to seeing and hearing every child, and they consciously respond to each child's interests and needs.
We believe it is important for children to connect with the world around them from an early age. That’s why we regularly visit the Vriezenhof residential and care center, or welcome their residents to our location. We also go on outings to help children become familiar with their surroundings, traffic and nature. These educational experiences support their language development and social skills.

Summary
GGD Twente conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 16 September 2025 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Eigen&Wijzer KDV Dukkies in Vriezenveen. The KDV accommodates 62 children aged 0-4 years in four core groups. All assessed areas – pedagogical policy and practice, staff qualifications, staff-to-child ratios, safety and health policy, domestic violence reporting protocol, first aid provisions, parent information, complaints procedure and parent committee – meet legal requirements. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The pedagogical practice is positive: permanent, qualified staff provide emotional safety, communicate effectively with parents, deliver purposeful development activities and maintain a clear daily routine. The safety and health policy is up-to-date, risks have been mapped and measures have been taken. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement steps.
