About this care
Kindcentrum Warande is a public child centre that, in partnership with GO! Kinderopvang, provides professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. We are located at Haagwinde 2 in the newest district of Lelystad and have a spacious and secure playground where children can play and explore to their heart's content. Every day, dozens of children attend our day-care centre. In our child centre, all professionals work closely together as one close-knit team. We offer a continuous pedagogical approach in which care and development seamlessly connect. Our vision is that every child is unique and should be given the space to develop in his or her own way. We work from a sense of connectedness and encourage children to explore the world around them. Our pedagogical staff are qualified and have extensive experience with the very youngest. We provide a safe and familiar environment in which children feel at home.Read more

Summary
Kindcentrum Warande in Lelystad is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for children aged 0–4 that received an unannounced annual inspection on January 9, 2025. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) concludes that the location meets all assessed requirements. Key strengths include the warm pedagogical climate, sufficiently qualified staff, a clear pedagogical policy, and good guidance of children during play and social interactions. No violations were identified. One area for improvement was that the parent committee was not yet fully independent within the IKC council; the location has already taken steps to address this in early 2025. No recovery offer was necessary. The municipality has been advised not to pursue enforcement action.
