About this care
Kindcentrum Olof Palme is located at Aziëlaan 49 in Drunen and is part of MIKZ, an organization that combines childcare and education on one site. Our after-school care (BSO) can be reached by phone at +31 6 22233236 or by email at olofpalme@mikz.nl.
Our BSO is designed for children aged 4 to 12 who already attend primary school. We provide a familiar and safe place where children can play, relax and discover new things after school. The activities are tailored to the children's world of experience and stimulate their social, creative and motor development. We work from a clear pedagogical vision that leaves room for personal initiative and in which respect and cooperation are central.
The location has spacious indoor and outdoor areas where children can move freely. There are plenty of opportunities for sports and games, crafts, building, drama or simply playing outside. We tailor our offer to the interests of the children and actively involve them in planning activities. We also provide quiet moments for children who want to rest or quietly work on their own project.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an annual inspection on 19 February 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Kindcentrum Olof Palme in Drunen, part of Stichting Mikz. The care accommodates up to 60 children (ages 4-8) divided across three base groups in the school buildings. All assessed quality requirements in the domains of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and parental rights have been met. The pedagogical practice demonstrates a warm, safe atmosphere in which children are emotionally secure and stimulated in their development. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. Staff hold appropriate qualifications and Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) declarations, and the child-to-staff ratio is correct. The parent committee and complaints procedure function properly.
