The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at Kindcentrum Het Koninkrijkje in Krimpen aan den IJssel on 9 June 2026. The inspection assessed whether the location could accommodate an expansion from 27 to 30 childcare places. All assessed quality requirements (pedagogical policy, safety and health policy, and space requirements) were found to be in order. The group rooms, sleeping spaces, and outdoor play area meet the legal requirements for the desired number of places. The holder has an up-to-date safety and health policy and has carried out a risk assessment in connection with the expanded outdoor play area. During an earlier inspection on 19 January 2026, violations were identified for which a recovery offer was made; these have since been resolved.
