Welcome to Kindcentrum de Vlinder in Geldrop. Our daycare centre at Deelenstraat 1 offers children from 0 to 4 years a safe, homely place where they can explore and grow through play. We work in small, age-based groups so that every child receives the personal attention they deserve.
At Korein Kindcentrum de Vlinder, your child’s development is our priority. Our experienced pedagogical staff not only provide care, but also stimulate language, motor and social skills through our Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme. We use thematic activities, creative workshops and short outings in the neighbourhood. In this way children learn through play and are optimally prepared for primary school.
Our location is modern and includes separate sleeping rooms, a secure indoor and outdoor play area and a wide range of play and development materials. We follow a clear daily routine with fixed moments for play, sleep, meals and outdoor time. Parents experience our care as involved and transparent: we work closely together, keep you informed through a parent portal and are always open to questions or consultation.

Summary
Kindcentrum de Vlinder in Geldrop, part of Korein BV, was inspected unannounced by GGD Brabant-Zuidoost on 8 May 2026. The location provides daycare for 45 children, including a baby group, toddler group, toddler work group, and after-school care (BSO), with subsidized early childhood education. All assessed quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staffing and groups, and safety and health comply with the Childcare Act. The pedagogical practice shows strong points: emotional security through clear daily structure and positive interactions, stimulation of personal competence through language development and sign language, and good early childhood education with the Startblokken program. No areas for improvement or violations were identified during this annual inspection. The previous inspection in March 2024 did reveal a violation (3F certificate early childhood education), but this has been resolved following a recovery offer. The GGD advises the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo to take no enforcement action.
