Welcome to Kindontwikkeling Kik School met de Bijbel, our after-school care location at Sperwer 167 in Sommelsdijk. We are part of Kibeo and work closely with primary school School met de Bijbel. Our BSO is specially designed for children aged 4 to 12 years and provides care on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We create a safe and familiar place where children can relax, play and develop after school. Our team of pedagogical staff is ready to give the children a warm welcome and guide them in their development. We offer a homely atmosphere where children feel at home and where there is room for both rest and activities. As part of Kibeo, we follow their pedagogical policy and quality standards, while respecting and incorporating the Christian identity of the school into our care. Summary
This incidental inspection by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Rotterdam-Rijnmond assesses whether the after-school care (BSO) Kindontwikkeling Kik School met de Bijbel in Sommelsdijk may reduce its number of childcare places from 22 to 14. The inspection took place on 15 January 2026. All assessed quality requirements were found to be in order: pedagogical policy, safety and health policy, and space requirements. The reduction has no consequences for the base groups, as the second room has not been used since 2024. The group room of 49.8m² and the school playground provide sufficient play space. The provider has carried out a risk assessment for the new situation. The GGD advises the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee to grant the amendment. The provider agrees with the content of the report.
