Summary

This GGD inspection report of 6 July 2026 concerns a follow-up inspection of Kinderpaleis Middelharnis B.V. (BSO) in Sommelsdijk, conducted by GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond on behalf of the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee. The location provides after-school care (BSO) to 50 children aged 4 to 13 years at recreation centre De Staver. At the previous annual inspection on 13 February 2025, violations were identified regarding pedagogical policy and staff deployment. The provider made use of a recovery offer and partially resolved the violations. At this follow-up inspection, it was found that the provider now meets both quality requirements. The pedagogical work plan has been amended with a concrete description of cross-location care on school-free days. The staff-to-child ratio complies with the calculation rules and the formative deployment of students is well arranged. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
