About this care
Welcome to Kibeo Dr. Schutterstraat Oosterland, our small-scale daycare centre right in the heart of Oosterland. We provide care for up to eight children aged 0 to 4 years, ensuring calm, space and personal attention at all times. Our homely building at Dr. Schutterstraat 1 is located next to the village centre and is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm.
At Kibeo we believe every child deserves a good start. Our experienced pedagogical professionals create a familiar environment where your child feels safe and can explore at his or her own pace. We follow a clear daily rhythm: playing, sleeping, eating and outdoor time alternate quietly, tailored to the needs of the very youngest. For babies this means bottle feeding, nappy changes and cuddle moments whenever they need them; for toddlers fun activities that let them practise new skills and make their first friendships.

Summary
Kibeo Dr. Schutterstraat Oosterland provides daycare (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for 27 children (ages 0-4) in two core groups (stamgroepen) and early childhood education through the Uk & Puk program. The inspection visit on December 4, 2025 shows predominantly good quality: pedagogical practice, early childhood education, staff qualifications, and registration comply with the law. There were two shortcomings in the pedagogical policy: 1) The working method for core groups was not described in concrete terms; this was resolved after the recovery offer. 2) Staff were not working in accordance with the pedagogical policy: children were received in another core group without parental consent and information, and a child was placed at after-school care (BSO) for longer than permitted. This violation has not yet been resolved. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality to enforce.
