About this care
Voorschool De Burght is located in a beautifully renovated building at Keizersgracht 41 in the heart of Amsterdam. We provide small-scale preschool care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4. As part of Stichting Dynamo Voorscholen, we work closely with primary school De Burght, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition into primary education for your child.
Your child’s development is our main focus. We offer a rich programme that includes daily language games, reading aloud, drawing, singing and movement. Our experienced pedagogical staff create a safe and stimulating environment where children can play, discover and grow. We pay special attention to language development and social skills, so your child starts primary school well prepared.
We work with familiar faces: each group has at least two regular pedagogical staff who know your child inside and out. In addition, we have trainees on site who provide extra guidance, giving your child even more personal attention. Our settling-in period is calm and tailored to your child: you stay and join in at first, and together we decide how quickly your child will feel at home.

Preschool De Burght has been housed in De Burght primary school since September 2024 and provides preschool education to a maximum of 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. The team consists of 3 permanent, qualified staff members who work according to a cross-programme approach. The inspection of 8 July 2025 concludes that all statutory quality requirements are met. The pedagogical climate is assessed positively: children experience emotional safety, there is considerable attention for language and social development, and the collaboration with the primary school is well arranged. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The location works with a mentor per child, monitors development using the KIJK! system, and provides over 960 hours of preschool education per child over 1.5 years. Parents are actively involved through theme newsletters, parent meetings and a parent app. The safety and health policy is up-to-date, including risk assessment, first aid provision and domestic violence reporting protocol. A back-up supervision arrangement is in place. The municipality is advised to take note of the report.
