About this care
Welcome to Klaproosje, our daycare centre located right in the heart of Amsterdam at Prinsengracht 196 H. We provide care for 44 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our mission is to offer every child a safe, warm and stimulating environment in which they can develop to their full potential.
We work with the VVE Piramide programme. This programme focuses on language and speech development and stimulates young children’s natural curiosity. By learning through play, children develop their skills in a natural way. Our childcare professionals guide the children with personal attention and care.
Our location is open every weekday from 07:30 to 18:30, all year round, except on national holidays. This provides flexible childcare that fits the busy schedules of city parents. We use horizontal groups, grouping children by age to best support their development.
Klaproosje is part of Flowerkids Kinderdagverblijven, an organisation committed to high-quality childcare in Amsterdam. We believe it is important that parents feel at ease with us. Therefore, open communication and collaboration with parents are central to our approach.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Klaproosje in Amsterdam was inspected unannounced on 24 April 2025. The annual investigation shows that all statutory quality requirements are met. The location accommodates 44 children in 4 fixed core groups. The team of 11 permanent staff members is stable, well-trained (all meet the language requirement, infant care training present) and works with its own substitute pool. There is an active parent involvement policy: monthly newspaper, activities such as King's Games, breakfast, and grandparent afternoon. Safety is ensured through up-to-date protocols, first aid re-certification, and a functioning domestic violence reporting code. There have been no complaints. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality to take note of the report for information purposes only.

Geweldig kinderdagverblijf. Leuke sfeer en leuke leidsters. Ze werken met vve Piramede. Vaak uitstapjes naar oa speeltuin, Artis en Schiphol.
