Junior Service Amsterdam

Strengths

• Clear and comprehensive pedagogical policy (Trilogy)
• Committed, permanent staff who know the children well
• Intensive coaching by the on-site pedagogical coach
• Theme-based activities stimulate development of language, motor skills and creativity
• Structure and predictability through daily schedule cards and fixed teams

Shortcomings

• Outdoor space is formally suitable for 13 children, while 15 childcare places are registered; annual playground equipment inspection must be continued
• Occasionally the maximum of 3 hours per day is worked with fewer qualified staff than legally required; however, an additional adult is always present during these times
