Thuishuis NiniMini

Thuishuis NiniMini is a small-scale childcare centre with daycare and after-school care at 2 locations. Our location in Ter Apel is at Hoofdstraat 36, very centrally located in the centre of Ter Apel. Led by Nienke Woldhuis, we provide a safe, trusted environment with a familiar face in the group, where children feel at home. Our team of four regular pedagogical staff – Charlene, Harma, Kimberly and Nienke herself – work on fixed days so that every child always knows who will be there, creating close bonds between child, parent and carer. Inside, we have cosy play areas with different corners: a construction area for discovery and creativity, a home corner for role-play, a large table for crafts and a relaxation corner. The space is warmly and comfortably furnished so that both babies and toddlers feel safe and stimulated. Our large outdoor play area invites running, climbing, sand-pit adventures and nature exploration. We believe children should be able to play outside every day. We use vertical grouping: children aged 0 to 4 play together in the daycare centre. Every Tuesday we serve a warm meal, giving parents one extra relaxed evening. We also provide bottle feeding for the very youngest and respect individual sleep and feeding routines. Opening hours are 06:30–18:30; other times can be arranged by agreement. You pay by the hour and only for the hours you actually use. There is no waiting list – we will be happy to discuss a suitable place for your child.
