Welcome to 't Onderdeurtje, our toddler care facility located at Wulplaan 9 in Ede. We are part of Spelenderwijs Ede and provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our facility is situated within primary school 't Startpunt, allowing children to become familiar with the school environment. We offer care during both morning and afternoon sessions, where children make important developmental steps through play. Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) 't Onderdeurtje in Ede provides preschool education to a maximum of 16 toddlers aged 2–4 years. The annual unannounced inspection visit on 30 September 2025 shows that the location meets the statutory quality requirements in all areas. There is a vibrant pedagogical climate with the Piramide programme, in which language, numeracy, motor skills, and social-emotional development are structurally stimulated. All staff members hold a Certificate of Conduct (VOG), the safety and health policy is up to date, and parents are well informed. There was one safety risk: long cords from roller blinds hanging within reach of children. Following a recovery offer, these were hung high within a week and the risk was eliminated. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
