BijdeHandjes - Pollenstein

Welcome to Daycare BijdeHandjes located at Pollenstein 1 in Ede. Set in a characteristic building that surprises with spacious and bright group areas inside, we provide a warm, homely environment for up to 63 children aged 0 to 4 years. As part of Christian Childcare BijdeHandjes, we work from a Christian identity in which every child is seen as unique and precious. Children are received in horizontal age groups, with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers each having their own rooms tailored to their developmental stage. For the very youngest we provide complete baby care: diapers, formula, wipes and sleeping bags are all included. For toddlers and pre-schoolers we arrange bread meals, fruit and snacks, so parents can delegate worry-free. Toddler care is offered in a special group for children aged 2.5 to 4 years. This group combines play with Early Childhood Education (ECE), stimulating language, numeracy and social skills through play. In addition to full-day childcare, half-day toddler care is also available in the afternoons. Our pedagogical staff work according to the BijdeHandjes vision: giving children space to be themselves, explore and grow in a safe environment. We read from picture books and the children's Bible, sing Christian songs and say grace before meals. All children are welcome, regardless of their religious background. Together with parents we form a close community. We think along about each child's development and offer flexible childcare where needed.
