About this care
Located on the edge of Hazerswoude-Dorp, our large childcare center Stijntje Stoer offers all forms of childcare under one roof, specifically designed for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our daycare facility has 60 childcare places and is officially registered in the National Childcare Register.
At Stijntje Stoer, we work with early childhood education (VE), where we stimulate the development of young children through targeted activities and a rich learning environment. We use horizontal groups, where children are grouped by age. This allows our pedagogical staff to specifically respond to the unique needs and developmental stage of each age group.
Our location features separate sleeping areas where the youngest children can rest peacefully, and a large garden with playground equipment where children can safely play and explore. The outdoor space is specially designed for young ages, with soft surfaces and age-appropriate play materials.

The annual inspection by GGD Hollands Midden on 30 July 2026 shows that daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Stijntje Stoer in Hazerswoude-Dorp fully meets all quality requirements. The location operated by Stichting Junis Kinderopvang provides care for 60 children aged 0 to 4 years. The pedagogical practice is considered a strong point: staff communicate at eye level, work calmly and positively, and encourage independence. All staff members are correctly registered in the persons register, hold valid qualifications and meet the language requirement. Staff-to-child ratios are observed and all children have fixed staff members. The safety and health policy is also adequately implemented, including around safe sleeping. No areas for improvement or violations were identified. The advice to the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn is: no enforcement action.
