About this care
We are Daycare Pippeloentje, located at Torontostraat 81 in Doetinchem. As part of Stichting Humankind, we provide care for up to 56 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 22 May 2025 under number 282972705, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance.
We work with horizontal age groups, enabling us to meet the specific needs of babies up to one and a half to two years and toddlers from two to four years. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. For parents with varying work schedules, we can offer customized solutions by mutual agreement.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Noord- en Oost-Gelderland conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Pippeloentje in Doetinchem on 18 June 2026. The inspection was carried out on behalf of the municipality of Doetinchem, following a modification request from operator Stichting Humankind to increase the number of childcare places from 56 to 72. The additional 16 places are intended for the new toddler care 'Peuterpret', planned from 1 September 2026. The inspection assessed the modification procedure, the pedagogical policy, and the accommodation requirements. All inspected conditions are being met. The indoor space (272 m²) and outdoor space (285 m²) meet the standards for 72 children. The new group room was not yet fully set up during the visit; the setup will be checked at the next annual inspection.
