About this care
Peuterschool De Vuurtoren is located on the grounds of Christelijke Basisschool De Vuurtoren at Stevinstraat 65E in Scheveningen. We provide preschool care for children aged 2.5 to 4 years in a small-scale setting with a maximum of 16 children per group. Guided by two dedicated pedagogical staff members, we work thematically: each theme—such as traffic, spring or ‘welcome’—guides play, singing, crafts and language. Through play, children learn to play together, share, listen, tell stories and sing. We cooperate closely with the primary school and follow the same play-and-learn programme, ensuring a smooth transition later on. Our SCOH coach and the school’s internal supervisor carefully monitor each child’s development. Geweldig personeel, enorm enthousiast! De kinderen gaan hier met veel plezier naar school. De omgeving is echt mooi en positief.
Fijne school op Scheveningen. Enthousiaste leerkrachten, veel (ook buitenschoolse) activiteiten. Twee zoons hebben een mooie schooltijd gehad hier.
