About this care
Noah de Kubus is a preschool (peuteropvang) located within the De Kubus primary school building at Galileistraat 86 in Schiedam. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2.5 to 4 years. The preschool is open Monday through Friday from 08:15 to 11:30, 40 weeks per year. As part of Stichting Kinderopvang Noah foundation, we work closely with the primary school, allowing children to seamlessly transition to primary education.
We use the Piramide development method, a recognized VVE program for early childhood education. This method focuses on cognitive, creative, motor and language development. We work thematically, with the same themes being offered simultaneously at both the preschool and in groups 1 and 2 of the primary school, ensuring a smooth transition and continuous learning path.
Our qualified pedagogical staff provide consistent caregivers so children feel safe and secure. We follow Islamic pedagogy where play is central. Daily attention is given to the Islamic background with customs and rituals. Your child's development is monitored using the KIJK! tracking system, with periodic evaluations discussed with you.
