About this care
Welcome to daycare Calimero, located at Grotestraat 24 in the centre of Rossum. We provide small-scale, professional childcare for up to twenty children aged 0 to 4. Playful learning, fun and development are at the heart of everything we do. We use DoenKids, a digital activity platform that helps us challenge every child in an age-appropriate way.
For children aged 2½ to 4 we offer pre- and early-school education (VVE), preparing them playfully for primary school. We believe children should feel safe and at home; therefore we create a homely atmosphere in which every child has room to be themselves. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every day with personal attention and a warm heart.
A special part of our programme is the monthly visit to Villa Volthe, a day-care centre for elderly people with memory problems or early dementia. During these encounters children learn, through play, how to interact with other generations and develop their social skills. We also offer outdoor naps, allowing children to enjoy the fresh air to the full.
