Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf SpeelOkee, the trusted address for professional childcare in the heart of Oud-Beijerland since 2000. Located at Oost-Voorstraat 109, we provide daycare for 75 children aged 0 to 4 years, spread across six spacious group rooms.
At SpeelOkee, we work with a consistent daily rhythm so children know what to expect. We do many activities together: singing, crafting, and other creative activities are central to our daily routine. Our child-friendly, playful, and bright spaces are clearly arranged and offer children the opportunity to develop safely.
Our qualified pedagogical staff guide the children with great care and attention. We stand for good, professional, and high-quality daycare where the well-being and development of each child is central.
As an officially registered daycare center in the National Childcare Register (LRK), we meet all national quality requirements. This means that parents can apply for childcare allowance for care with us. We are under the supervision of the GGD Health & Youth Service ZHZ within the municipality of Hoeksche Waard.Read more

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) SpeelOkee in Oud-Beijerland was inspected unannounced on 30 April 2025. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) concludes that the location complies with all assessed regulations: the pedagogical policy is clear, the atmosphere in the groups is calm and warm, and staff respond in a supportive manner. There are sufficient qualified childcare professionals present, and children are cared for in fixed groups with a fixed mentor. No violations were identified and no areas for improvement were announced. The previous recovery offer (2023) regarding the complaints procedure has been successfully completed. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
