About this care
Kinderdagverblijf Mika-do is a small-scale, homely childcare centre located in the characteristic building of a former rectory at Harlingerstraatweg 7a in Leeuwarden. We provide care for up to 37 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our team, led by Mariska Verrijt, consists of loving and professional childcare staff who strive every day to offer your child a second safe home.
At Mika-do, we believe it is important that children feel completely at ease with us, in addition to being at home with mum and dad. We create a familiar, warm and open atmosphere in which children have all the space they need to discover themselves and develop through play. By maintaining continuous contact with parents, we build mutual involvement and trust. Our approach is personal, warm and loving – just like home.
