Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf ’t Nestje, located in a beautiful historic building at Brinkgreverweg 184, Deventer. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in three groups that are partly horizontal and partly vertical. Our dedicated team of qualified pedagogical professionals creates a safe and stimulating environment every day. Toddlers aged 2 to 4 years can participate in our Early Childhood Education programme, giving them a strong start at primary school. Summary
Kindercentrum 't Nestje in Deventer, part of Kinderopvang Kindernet, was inspected by GGD IJsselland (Municipal Health Service) on 15 June 2026. The daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) with 73 childcare places meets most quality requirements. One violation was identified in the safety and health domain: the heat protocol was insufficiently developed for the toddler village. Working thermometers were missing, temperature readings were not accessible to staff, and the coolest area had not been designated. Previous heat-related complaints from children and one staff member underscored the risk. Following a recovery offer, the provider installed thermometers, purchased air coolers, established a location-specific heat protocol, and began structurally recording temperatures. The shortcoming has been resolved. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
