About this care
KDV Kindcentrum Woldwijck is located in the modern Kindcentrum Woldwijck at Mars 1d in Hoogezand. Our daycare is part of Kinderopvang KaKa and provides care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years. We operate with one horizontal group, where children of approximately the same age play and learn together.
Our location is situated in a child center that also houses two primary schools and toddler care, creating a rich environment for children to grow up in. The building was delivered earthquake-resistant in 2017 and has recently been expanded with additional facilities.
We are open Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 18:30, with extended care available upon request. Our team of experienced pedagogical staff provides professional care in a safe and stimulating environment.

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Kindcentrum Woldwijck in Hoogezand, part of Kinderopvang KaKa, was inspected on 13 May 2026 by GGD Groningen. The unannounced annual inspection showed that the location fully meets all assessed statutory quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation. The childcare accommodates 32 children, divided between a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) (0-4 years) and toddler care (2-4 years), and provides early childhood education through the Pyramid program. The staff demonstrate positive pedagogical behavior, communicate clearly, and join in children's play. All staff hold valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) declarations and proper qualifications. The indoor and outdoor spaces comfortably exceed the required standards. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Midden-Groningen not to take enforcement measures.
