Kinderdagverblijf Kiekeboe is centrally located at De Lange Streek 30 in Swifterbant and provides a safe, loving environment for children aged 0 to 4. Officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 10 October 2023, the facility has capacity for up to 44 children. As part of Kinderopvang Dronten, we operate under the mission ‘Natuurlijk Samen Groeien’ (Growing Together Naturally). We believe every child has unique talents and offer a varied program that engages head, heart and hands. Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Kiekeboe in Swifterbant provides care for up to 44 children aged 0-4 years in 3 core groups. During the annual inspection visit on 18 September 2025, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) found that the location did not meet all requirements. There were two violations: one staff member lacked an appropriate diploma (but later received an industry certificate) and there is no parent committee despite more than 50 children being registered. These violations did not lead to an enforcement recommendation because the provider made sufficient efforts and the violations have been resolved or can be resolved. The pedagogical practice, safety, accommodation and communication with parents are generally in order. A recovery offer was made for the lack of a concrete description of the 960-hour early education (VE) programme and some safety measures in the policy; these have since been resolved.
