Welcome to KDV De Buitenbengels Twijzel, a homely daycare centre in the green heart of Friesland. We provide care for up to 15 children aged 0–4 in a safe, familiar setting with plenty of room for development, fun and outdoor play. Our small-scale location at Simke Kloostermanstrjitte 7 is calm and easy to oversee, so every child receives the personal attention they deserve. We work with horizontal age groups (0-2 and 2-4 years), ensuring that activities and materials match each child’s developmental stage. The group rooms, both indoors and outdoors, are tailored to the children’s age: there is ample space to move, as well as quiet corners for reading or playing in the nature garden. Outdoor activities are a daily highlight—playing in fresh air, discovering the seasons and enjoying nature. Care and convenience are our priorities. Nappies and other care products are included, as are healthy snacks and drinks. Parents bring formula; we provide calm feeding moments in a cosy corner. For children with special dietary needs we are happy to work with parents to find a suitable solution. KDV De Buitenbengels Twijzel is officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 322715659) and supervised by GGD Fryslân, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance.
