Summary
KDV Calimero's Nest in Haarlem is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for a maximum of 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 9 July 2026 took place following relocation to a new address. The location meets all quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights. There are three permanent staff members, all well-trained and certified. Only four children were present during the inspection. Several safety points were discussed: cat feces in the sandbox, protruding nails on fencing, and a thorny shrub at child height. The operator has committed to addressing these points, including more secure fastening of the sandbox net. There are no violations that warrant enforcement action.
